1.  The Foundation: A Dedicated Start

Begin by dedicating your new set to one type of tea. This ensures a consistent and clear patina. For the first few weeks, simply enjoy your tea. Focus on the experience, not the outcome.

2.  The Daily Practice: Nourish & Release

This is the core of the ritual.

Nourish: Brew your tea as usual. The warm liquid is the ink that will write your story onto the glaze.

Release: After each use, simply rinse the ware with warm water. Gently wipe the exterior to a shine, but leave the interior untouched to dry naturally. This allows the tea stains to settle deep into the cracks.
